Key words

Axe throwing

An axe duel whose task is also to hit a wooden stump, and although it sounds like a game for strongmen, we assure you that it is not, on the contrary, it is a game for avoiding “axes”.

Bocce ball

Boće, buće, balote – all this is a synonym for one game. Interesting to young people, and even more familiar to older generations. On our field measuring 27m×4m, you can play this popular Mediterranean game, which is a combination of laughter and outsmarting. It can be played individually, in pairs, in threes or in a larger team, for example 5 on 5 people.

It is played in such a way that the player tries to get as close as possible to the bulin (small ball) by rolling a stone ball on the ground. During the game, the teams should work out special tactics to outwit the opponent, and find a way to push the opponent’s ball with their ballot and ultimately win the game. Injuries are almost impossible, but that’s why it’s always necessary to be careful when throwing a pumpkin (your own or the opponent’s), because during the game it can happen that it bounces off and hits the one who is careless.

Play “Grandma Anica’s Big Mill” / Trilja

This is a brain teaser for all ages. It is played using 9 round black and white tiles. Each player has the task of first placing their figures alternately on an empty board, and thus trying to connect 3 tiles in a row forming a Mill. The player who achieves the Mill “eats”, i.e. removes one opponent’s tile from the player’s board (it must not be from the already formed opponent’s Mill). During the game, the Mill can be unformed by moving one of the three tiles to the first adjacent space, and then re-formed by returning the tile on the next move. The player thus once again realizes the right to remove one opponent’s tile.

In the event that there are no opponent tiles available that do not form a Mill, only then can he remove any of those that are part of the opponent’s Mill.  The player who is the first to remove seven opponent’s tiles is the winner of the game, because in this way only 2 tiles remain available for the game, and the Mill cannot be formed, and thus the game ends.

Jumping in jute sacks

It is played in such a way that 2 players from the opposite team run parallely and each one “crawls” into the bag with the lower part of the body and holds it tightly. The winning team is the one whose players, taking turns in jumping, reach the goal first.

Tug of war

This old, well-known game is another proof that people like to return to their childhood, if only for a moment. On each side of the rope there is one team with an equal number of players. At the given signal, the teams pull the rope as hard as they can to their side. The winner is the team that pulls more ropes towards itself and thus overcomes the opposing team.
